Retail Trade Frameworks - How to Access
The Retail Trade Framework (RTF) provides an EU compliant framework, multiple product choice, shortened lead times, convenience, GPC capability, competitive pricing and additional contractual safeguards to customers who buy in the high street.
Access to the current Framework arrangements is as follows:
Arcadia Framework Number A327237B SEG 241
Purchase order forms are accepted in their solus* stores, for all the Arcadia brands (brands listed under contact details heading).
Currently all business is accessed via stores using a purchase order process system set up by contacting their Central B2B telephone number: 01133 806203. Please use this number for advice about account activation, how to purchase via the store network and any other administration queries.
Customers can view the range of garments at one of their 1,500 solus* stores throughout the UK. (Purchase order forms cannot be used in any concession outlets which are trading from within large Department stores).
Branch staff are highly trained in customer service and will be available for help and advice in store. Authorised purchase order forms are exchanged for the authorised garments at till point in store. The forms will be checked for authorisation by the branch staff prior to acceptance. Till receipts will be retained in store to accompany a copy of the purchase order form to Head Office which will then be processed for invoicing.
* A Solus store is a store not trading as a concession within a Department Store
GPC Payments
Government Procurement Card is an accepted method of purchase. The price is the in-store ticket price, including special offers.

Argos Framework Number A327237C SEG 242
Argos offers customers exceptional choice, value and convenience. To get the most benefit out of this agreement, you can make purchases with your current Government Procurement (GPC) Card or with an Argos "Corporate Link Account" Card, which can be opened with Argos using the form on www.argosb2b.co.uk.
A preferential discount of 5% will be automatically applied on all orders covering the 20,000 products available. This discount applies to purchases made at any of the 675 Argos stores in the UK as well as orders placed centrally. Any special offers at the time of placing your order benefit from the additional discount as well. Details of how to do this are provided below (Discounts will not be applied to any orders via the general public website www.argos.co.uk).
Chip and pin verification of some cards is currently being rolled out to Argos stores but will otherwise be overcome by manual intervention to process and apply the discount. No problems exist with centrally placed orders. Additional discounts may be available for bulk purchases based on individual quotes. These should have a minimum value of at least £5,000.

To access the Framework Agreement, it will be necessary to contact Mike Cartwright, (contact details below), in the first instance to ensure your account details and method of operation is set up.
Payment Information
Purchases can be made by Government Procurement Card (GPC) or B&Q Trade Card. Any other method will need to be agreed. Level 3 line item detail is provided for payments made by GPC in all stores.
The price is the in store price including special offers such as Every Day Low Prices/Price Promise. This ensures that the offering is competitive and offers best value for money for public sector customers. Terms and conditions apply and can be found on their returns policy leaflet.

Ordering and Purchasing Information
A Trade Account Discount Number will be given to you and this must be quoted on the Official Order along with the Buying Solutions Framework Agreement Number A327237E to ensure the discount is actioned.
The ordering process is as follows:
- Client visits nominated Bhs store with the Official Order and gives it and the selected items to the associate on the customer service desk.
- Associate processes the sale and produces 2 receipts. (*See below)
- The Client signs them
- The associate gives the items and one receipt to the Client
- During the sale process, the 10% discount is taken off the total amount
- The Official Order form together with the receipt is sent to Bhs Finance who generates the invoice and sends to the Invoice address on the Official Order form
- Payments can be made by BACS or cheque within 30 days in line with the CBI Prompt Payers Code.
Returns
If the Client returns all or some items to BHS, a refund will be generated at the till point and a credit is sent to the invoice address on the original Official Order form. (The Client will not be given the monetary value as a refund)
Exchanges
A client can make a like for like exchange, wrong colour, size etc and where the value of the transaction remains the same no information is forward to the Invoicing address as there is a nil balance
* BHS will only allow the Client to take items which are stated on the Official Order form at the price given. If clarification is required, the associates will initially contact the named authorised person on the Official Order form and may also involve the Bhs Trade Marketing Dept who manages the Contract.

Delivery & Installation
- Delivery times are flexible and may include unpacking and removal of packaging for recycling.

Small products like vacuum cleaners, personal hi-fi and games consoles are delivered by preferred parcel carriers at the following times:
- Morning delivery: 8am - 12pm

WEEE Regulations
Removal of old appliances for recycling is available if booked at the time of order placement. Comet has signed up to the Retail Compliance scheme run by Valpak on behalf of the British Retail Consortium. A non-profit making charge of £7.50 is charged.
Business Warranty Information
