Facilities Support then onto Retail Trade Framework
The RTF provides an EU compliant framework, multiple product choice, shortened lead times, convenience, GPC capability, competitive pricing and additional contractual safeguards to customers who buy in the high street.
Access to an in store solution that will capture all of the management information requirements for the public sector customer varies between retailers as the only way of processing and recording transactions is through the till using an electronic point of sale (epos) type system.
The till system, nationwide, is not fully set up at the moment to capture or recognise all of the information and to do this will require:
- Investment in software and implementation into the existing till network
- A time window to effect the changes
