Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy
The Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Framework provides access to broad-based, independent and impartial advice and support to enhance client-side capabilities to deliver transformational projects.
This framework will be of interest to customers who have taken a strategic decision to source from a single consultancy supplier the consultancy support across a range of disciplines required by the project.
Customers may invite the involvement of a client-side adviser at an early stage within a project to provide support throughout the project lifecycle. The client-side advisory role includes the provision of advice, guidance and support across a variety of disciplines. Six core disciplines which are commonly required for transformational projects were identified and specified in establishing this framework. They are:
- Strategy formulation and implementation
- Programme and project management
- ICT
- Human Resources
- Procurement
- Finance
However, suppliers have been selected for their ability to source additional consultancy disciplines as necessary, and often from within their own employed consultancy pool.
The suppliers on this framework have been assessed for their track record, capabilities and capacity to deliver high quality consultancy. They have demonstrated abilities to deploy resources on large scale, mobilise rapidly and deploy consultants flexibly where these are features are required.
In common with other Catalist Consultancy frameworks, this category is not designed to include delivery elements or outsourced services.
