Celebrating sustainability in the Health and Social Care sector
The NHS Purchasing and Supply Agency has launched a new award for the forthcoming National Sustainable Communities Awards Ceremony on 25th February 2008.
This event is hosted by Health Services Journal and the Local Government Chronicle in association with the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and the Department for Communities and Local Government.
The award is the “Suppliers Creating Sustainable Communities Award” and is open to all suppliers working in the health and social care sector.
It has been launched to recognise the contribution that suppliers to the health and social care sector make to wider social, environmental and community objectives.
The entry criteria and application forms are available from the Sustainable Communities Awards web site.
The closing date for applications is 26th October 2007.
Further information can be obtained from the NHS PASA web site
