Each year we procure an increasing amount gas which is delivered through our partnering arrangement with Corona Energy. In addition to the procurement volume -and therefore flexibility - this provides, Corona Energy provides a dedicated customer service team to advise and help customers with their queries and energy management.
Securing competitive prices in this volatile marketplace requires the buying power that comes with large aggregated volumes and the ability to constantly track developments and make swift buying decisions based on highly specialised experience, expertise and organisation.
The Buying Solutions team includes skilled in-house analysts who track the markets using live industry information systems, allowing hour-by-hour buying decisions that capitalise on advantageous price movements on the wholesale markets.
Our wholesale purchasing model provides flexibility and reduces risk. Traditional tenders generally operate to stringent schedules, so the time of purchase becomes fixed, regardless of market conditions. By contrast, Buying Solutions continually tracks the markets and reviews its activities to take advantage of favourable market movements.
Our Managed Service includes a rigorous supplier selection process, contract and supplier management, high quality customer service and a range of conservation and management products and services to reduce our consumption of energy.
The benefits for our customers include the security of contracting with suppliers at competitive prices, much reduced administration costs and the knowledge that all of this is contributing to the achievement of efficiency and sustainability targets.
Our energy purchasing model gives customers a range of procurement options depending on each organisation attitude to risk and reward. Procurement of gas and electricity takes place up to six months before supply.
