SILK – silk coated papers are designed to minimize glare and still give excellent reproduction of graphics and photography. In addition, the silk coating can help ensure that the final printed piece has a luxurious smooth feel. Ideal for prestigious print jobs, publishing, report and accounts, archival work, folders, inserts etc.Suitable for heatset web offset, cutstar and sheet fed applications.
MATT – matt coated papers minimize glare and are therefore ideal for printed matter that contains substantial amounts of text. They can also give an added tactile dimension to the final piece.Perfect for leaflets, periodicals, magazines, calendars and brochures.
GLOSS – gloss coated papers give an extra dimension to high quality photography by helping to ensure excellent print definition and colour reproduction.Suitable for calendars, report and accounts, manuals, brochures, direct mail and leaflets.
UNCOATED – uncoated papers can enable you to create a completely different feel to a piece of print. They are available in a range of white shades and different textures from very smooth to the very tactile. They can give a very natural feel to photography and can also ensure a high quality feel to the final piece. A bulky uncoated paper can also allow you to choose a lower weight thereby using less paper.
